Selection of Summer Wedding Photography 2019
It’s been too long since I wrote a blog post so I thought the best idea was to start with a selection of summer wedding photography from this year. 2019 was made up of all Kent weddings for me, visiting familiar venues as well as ones that I hadn’t worked at before. There were Church weddings, Barn weddings and Hotel weddings among others. I had weddings to photograph by the coast and in the middle of the Kent countryside, it’s amazing the variety of venues our beautiful county provides.
The couples I worked with were a mix of young and more mature, those finding love for the first time and others experiencing the joy of discovering it once again. Whatever the circumstance it’s always an occasion that demonstrates how special it is when you do find the person you want to live out your days with. I do a lot of Kent wedding photography, and capturing the day and what it means to people is paramount. Not hours and hours of group photos and couple portraits, but more of the fun and moments with friends and family.
It’s not easy to pick a selection of photographs so I just go on what resonates with me. I’ve witnessed some beautiful weddings this year and each and every one has been different. I recently saw a post from a wedding magazine aimed at couples listing at least 100 shots you may want your photographer to capture. What I say to couples is that it’s better not to have preconceived ideas of what you want photographed. You will get better and more honest photos if you let me capture what’s happening rather than have me go through a check list of shots. The only shots I list are the family groups!
So check out my Selection of Summer Wedding Photography 2019 and see what you think!
