After nearly 20 years photographing weddings I have decided to concentrate on weddings where couples only want coverage of up to 4 hours in duration.

If you are planning a wedding but only want a few hours coverage, I can cater for you. Even if you only want an hours coverage of just your ceremony and a few photos afterwards, I can help.

Obviously finding the right wedding photographer for you still applies, regardless of the size of your wedding. This means first and foremost choosing one whose work you connect with. I want my couples to be able to recount how they felt when they look back at their photos. If that’s what you’re looking for then lets chat as I’d love to photograph your wedding!

I will be your photographer for the duration of the hours you book and coverage can start at a time of your choice to cover those aspects of the wedding you would like.

Your photos will be delivered on a USB.

Your edited images will be in colour and black and white. These are not watermarked and you have licence to print and distribute them to friends and family.

ON THE WEDDING DAY

My aim is to photograph your wedding in a way that when you look at your images you have a complete picture of what your day was like, reminding you of how you felt, the emotions you shared with those closest to you as well as those moments you didn’t necessarily see. I see myself as an observer of your day, recording the events as they occur so you can enjoy the proceedings, but I will also include your chosen group photos, some beautiful portraits of just the two of you and aspects of the venue and those all important details.

GROUP PHOTOS, DETAILS AND OF COURSE YOU

Although my style is primarily photojournalistic, most couples naturally request a few group photos of family and friends and the wedding party, which I also feel is an essential part of the day and I am more than happy to take. I can suggest the ones I would expect to include and if you require any more you are free to let me know.

I do stress however, that they do take longer than you imagine and in order to get the more natural shots of you with your guests it’s better to keep the group shots to a minimum.

In addition to these, photos of the venue and the details that you have taken time to choose will also be taken. The portraits of the two of you will be taken at a time that’s convenient for you but I will also advise you of the best time for these in terms of light. Normally we do two sessions of approximately 15 minutes each so you’re never away from your guests for any length of time, in fact couples often find it’s a lovely opportunity to reflect on proceedings and enjoy a few quiet moments together.

THE ONLINE GALLERY

I like to take care over the editing process as I see this is an important factor in photography and producing the best set of images for you. Therefore after your wedding day I will aim to prepare your slide show within 2 weeks.

The remainder of your photos will be uploaded to your secure online gallery between 4 and 6 weeks after your wedding day. This is a password protected gallery which you will have the link to and which you can then share with your family and friends. They are then able to view and purchase prints from here if they so wish, saving you the trouble of taking everybody’s print orders.
