So another visit to Bexleyheath for a Danson House wedding, this time to photograph Alex & James tying the knot! Meeting them for the first time on the day outside the venue we had a few minutes to get acquainted before the ceremony. I loved the fact that they had brought along their beautiful dog, I’m a great one for including pets at weddings where ever possible!
They had decided on keeping their wedding small and in fact the ceremony room could only have a maximum of 6 people and one of them was me! This meant parents and their beloved dog had to wait outside and would have to be content with the photos of proceedings at a later date.
So the ceremony was short and sweet, witnessed by the best man, the grooms brother, the brides sister and me. Exchanging rings and saying their vows was accompanied by constant smiles and they couldn’t have looked happier. Greeted by their parents again outside, James proudly showed off their wedding certificate and we did as few group photos.
Since they had hired me for a couple of hours we then walked over to the gardens and park opposite. This provides a fantastic area for photos and if called to photograph another wedding at Danson House, I would always suggest making use of it. With plenty of time and the group being small, I was able to get photographs of different group combinations at different locations as well as photos of just the bride and groom which provided a little variety.
I’m happy photographing all sorts of weddings of any size so whether your wedding has only 6 people or 200 get in touch via my Contact Page. I can do bespoke packages for intimate off peak day weddings.
