Here are a collection of photos I took from a number of weddings in Kent and the South East during 2014, not every wedding as some couples preferred to keep their photos private, but most.
These are some of my personal favourites and they have been included for different reasons, perhaps due to an expression , something happening in that moment or simply beautiful light. Whatever the reason, they might not all necessarily appear to be wedding photos but they were all taken at weddings and they represent what the day was all about for a particular couple.
This year has taken me to some wonderful venues, from church weddings to castles and again I have met some really genuine and lovely couples. It is such a privilege and pleasure to photograph friends and families of all ages coming together and having an amazing time at their loved ones wedding, witnessing grandmas dancing like the young and kids swimming and playing like it was a party just for them brings smiles to everyones faces. On the hottest day of the year I photographed a wedding at the beach where the guests swam in the sea after the ceremony and where I seriously wished I could have joined them, to a wedding two days before Christmas where everyone was provided with a red fleece blanket as it was so cold inside the little church.
2014 also saw me open my own studio and it’s been great to see some of my previous wedding clients return to have photos of their babies and young children.
2015 is shaping up to be a very exciting year, I shall be continuing to give my couples the best possible service and results and also pushing myself to achieve my own personal business goals!
