Chilston Park Wedding Photography – Vinita & Doug
What a colourful, exuberant, fun, wonderful wedding this one was! A fusion of cultures with Vinita being Indian and Doug being Canadian and getting married in an old English manor house in the Kent countryside.
The warmth and love for these two people from their friends and family was in abundance and I can see why. Doug & Vinita have open and happy hearts and I’m a great believer in what you give out you get back. Doug was definitely quite overwhelmed to have all those people who they cared about so dearly, come to celebrate with them all in one place!.
The day was one of endless love, laughter and hugging! Honestly, Doug and Vinita are expert huggers and I don’t think a single guest went without one.
Vinita looked absolutely stunning in her salmon and gold sari, complimented perfectly by Doug’s royal blue suit! The vibrant colours matching the vibrant atmosphere of the day. It was a day that flowed effortlessly, guests making new friends as well as enjoying catching up with one’s they hadn’t seen for a while.
The weather held for the group photos to be taken outside which was great. There were more group photos than I normally take, but when you have people coming from all different parts of the globe you definitely want to make sure you get a photo with them. I’m always happy to do what the couple ask of me. As long as we’ve discussed beforehand what they would like and I have managed their expectations on whats possible within a certain time frame, it all works out well.
There were some funny and very clever speeches to entertain everyone, including me. Eventually it was time for some dancing. Vinta and Doug had a change of outfits and their practised routine was performed brilliantly! Bravo to you both and I wish you many happy years together.
