Sarah & James – Pre Wedding Photoshoot
Well well, who would have thought summer would make a come back like this and just in time for Sarah & James’s wedding at Swallows Oast on Saturday! It was just such a beautiful evening when we met up for their pre wedding photoshoot recently as well.
Asking if it was ok to bring their gorgeous dog Max along with them, my answer of course was a definitive yes (I love dogs)!. So we spent about an hour, walking, talking and taking photos. The light was perfect, the beautiful golden hour.
It was great to spend some time with them both before their wedding day. It really helps me get to get an insight into their personalities and how they feel about having their photos taken. Like almost everyone I do a pre wedding photoshoot with, they said they are really awkward in front of the camera. However by the end of the session they knew they just really needed to be themselves and I’d take care of the rest.
Sarah, who is originally from Liverpool, met James on holiday nearly 5 years ago. They have been engaged now for nearly 2 years and as Sarah told me, they have become best friends who make each other laugh, and are always there to support each other in good times and bad. Things they love less are when James doesn’t do something Sarah’s been asking him to do for ages and her stubbornness in an argument! However it was clear to me the love they shared for each other and fun they had together, a healthy recipe for a great relationship!
They both enjoyed the pre wedding photoshoot and felt it was really worthwhile as it gave them an idea of what to expect. I’m pleased to say they loved the results as well!
I know they are going to be blown away by how much they love their wedding day. They are so looking forward to celebrating with all their friends and family, especially since Sarah’s are all travelling down from Liverpool. To have everyone who means so much to you all together to witness one of the best days of your life is so so special, and I’ll be working my socks off to photograph as much of how that feels as I can!
